How short will you mow my lawn? Print E-mail

During the spring season, we will cut the grass from 2-1/4” to 4” to keep the grass short during the rainy season. In the hot summer months we will cut from 3” to 4” to keep the grass from burning. When the end of the mowing season comes around, we will cut the grass short again to deter winterkill.

How much moisture does my lawn need?

Most lawns need from 1” to 2” of moisture per week during the hot and windy summer months.  A ½” of moisture per week during the cooler spring and fall seasons is sufficient.
